Accepting a Jury Invitation
Thank you for agreeing to serve on a jury for an art organization using Crafted Call. This guide walks you through accepting your invitation and getting started with the review process.
Receiving Your Invitation
You should receive an email from the organization inviting you to be a juror. The email includes:
The organization's name and mission
The name of the call you'll be reviewing (e.g., "2026 Open Exhibition")
A personalized invitation link
A deadline for completing your jury registration
The invitation link is unique to you and expires 30 days after it's sent. If your link expires, contact the organization to resend it.
Tip: Save or bookmark the invitation email. You may need to refer back to it.
Step 1: Click the Invitation Link
Open the email and click the blue Accept Jury Invitation button (or copy the link from the email and paste it into your browser).
This takes you to Crafted Call's jury onboarding page.
Step 2: Create an Account or Log In
If You're New to Crafted Call
Click Create New Account
Enter:
Your email address
Your first and last name
A password (at least 8 characters, mix of letters and numbers recommended)
Click Create Account
You'll be logged in automatically and taken to the jury registration form.
If You Already Have a Crafted Call Account
Click Log In
Enter your email and password
Click Log In
You're authenticated and taken to the jury registration form.
Tip: If you've forgotten your password, click Forgot Password on the login screen to reset it.
Step 3: Complete the Jury Registration Form
The organization may ask you to provide additional information to help them manage the review process.
Common Registration Questions
Conflict of Interest Declaration (important)
You may be asked if you know any of the artists submitting
You may be asked if you have any financial or professional interest in the outcome
Answer honestly. The organization uses this to assign submissions fairly

If you declare a conflict, the organization will exclude you from reviewing that artist's work
Expertise or Specialty (optional)
Some organizations ask about your background or areas of expertise
This helps them distribute submissions appropriately (e.g., all sculpture to sculpture specialists)
Answer if asked, but it's not required
Availability (optional)
Some organizations ask when you expect to complete your reviews
This helps them plan the jury schedule
Additional Notes (optional)
You may be invited to add context about yourself or your jury background
Keep responses professional and concise
Submitting Your Registration
Once you've filled in the form:
Review your answers for accuracy
Click Submit Registration
You'll see a confirmation message. The organization now has your information.
