Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Crafted Call platform ("Service"), operated by Granite Logic, LLC. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Permitted Uses

Crafted Call is designed for legitimate art organizations and artists to:

• Create and manage calls for artists, submissions, and jury review processes
• Organize exhibitions and manage artwork inventory
• Communicate with artists, jurors, and members
• Process payments for submissions and artwork sales
• Manage events and volunteer programs

Prohibited Uses

Intellectual Property and Authenticity

You may not use the Service to:

• Upload, submit, or display artwork, images, or materials you do not own or have a valid license to use
• Submit counterfeit, plagiarized, or misrepresented artwork (representing another artist's work as your own)
• Claim ownership of artwork in the public domain without accurate attribution
• Infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent, or other intellectual property rights
• Circumvent digital rights management (DRM) protections

Harmful or Illegal Content

You may not upload, share, or publish:

• Content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or abusive toward any artist, juror, or organization member
• Content that is obscene under applicable law, or that sexualizes minors in any way
• Content that promotes or incites violence, terrorism, or illegal activity
• Content that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Personally identifiable information of third parties without their consent

Harassment and Abuse

You may not:

• Harass, stalk, intimidate, or threaten other users of the Service
• Create fake profiles or impersonate any person or organization
• Engage in brigading or coordinated attacks against artists or organizations on the platform
• Interfere with another user's enjoyment of the Service

Platform Abuse

You may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or network connected to the Service
• Introduce malware, viruses, or any code designed to damage or disrupt the Service
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the Service in ways that exceed normal usage (beyond official API access)
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Circumvent any rate limits, access controls, or security measures
• Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk communications (spam) to artists or other users
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission

Financial and Commercial Abuse

You may not:

• Collect submission fees from artists with no intent to run a legitimate exhibition or call
• Process fraudulent payments or attempt to manipulate payment flows
• Use the Service to launder money or facilitate financial crimes
• Charge artists fees that are not disclosed in the call for artists listing

Data and Privacy Violations

You may not:

• Collect, store, or process personal data via the Service in violation of applicable privacy law (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Use artist contact information exported from the Service to contact them outside the platform without consent
• Share or sell artist personal data to third parties
• Use the Service to build competing products by scraping or exporting platform data

Consequences of Violations

Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, Crafted Call may:

1. Issue a warning — for minor or first-time violations
2. Temporarily suspend the offending account or feature access
3. Permanently terminate the account and bar future access
4. Notify law enforcement — for serious violations involving illegal activity, fraud, or imminent harm
5. Remove content — any content violating this AUP may be removed without notice

Crafted Call is not obligated to provide a warning before suspension or termination for serious violations.

If you believe another user is violating this AUP, please report it:

Include as much detail as possible: the nature of the violation, the user or organization involved, and any supporting evidence.

Appeals

If your account is suspended or terminated and you believe it was in error, contact legal@craftedcall.com within 30 days of the action to request a review.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by posting an updated policy to this page.
